Where does the Women in focus miami festival take place?
Unless otherwise specified, all events will take place at Leica Store Miami, 372 Miracle Mile, Coral Gables, FL 33134.
Do the events cost money?
All festival events are free and open to the public.
Do I have to identify as a women to attend?
Nope! Everybody is welcome. While the purpose of Women in Focus Miami is to celebrate women, photographers and advocates of any gender are invited.
Whose idea was this anyway?
Women in Focus Miami is curated and organized by the women behind Leica Store Miami: Kirsten Vignes (@kirstencita), Ashlyn McKibben (@ashlynmckibben) and Juliana Farkas with the added support of Maggie Steber and other featured artists.
I’m visiting from out-of-town. which hotel should i fly into, Which hotels do you recommend in the area?
For out of town visitors, we recommend flying into Miami International Airport (MIA) which is only 4.5 miles from Leica Store Miami. An alternate, and sometimes more affordable option, is the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood international Airport (FLL), which is 32 miles from the store.
